With the addition of a full-time Fire Marshal, the Fire Prevention Division made substantial progress in 2024. While fire prevention may not be perceived as exciting as suppression and rescue operations, the staff of the Fire Prevention Division are dedicated to protecting life, property, and the environment for those who are living in and visiting the communities we proudly serve.  As you read through this report, the most important statistic that I must share is that there were no civilian or firefighter injuries or deaths in 2024. Highlights of the accomplishments of the division include:
