We are expecting severe cold weather, freezing rain, and cold East winds for the next 48 hours and continued Coastal mountain snow for 96 hours.
Cannon Beach hill has several vehicles that have slid off the road. The hill is extremely icy. We highly advise to stay home. The freezing rain is making a sheet of ice on roads.
If you absolutely have to leave the area for any reason, chain up before going down or up the hill.
The power is still out in Cannon Beach. Shelter in place.
Visitors in the area who do not have a place to stay, Tolovana Inn has rooms dedicated for this type of occasion. Room costs are on your own dime though.
