Gov. Kate Brown Issues Order Directing Oregonians To 'Stay Home'

Violations of the order can be treated as a class C misdemeanor, punishable by up to 30 days in jail and a $1,250 fine. Officials suggested Monday that initial violations would be treated leniently when possible. 

Stay Home, Save Lives: Ordering Oregonians to Stay at Home, Closing Specified Retail Businesses, Requiring Social Distancing Measures for Other Public and Private Facilities, and Imposing Requirements for Outdoor Areas and Licensed Childcare Facilities.
