Cannon Beach Fire & Rescue Smoke Detector Program

Cannon Beach Fire & Rescue has initiated a smoke detector program that
provides smoke detectors to those within the fire district who may need one.
Whenever personnel respond to a medical or fire call, an inquiry is made
to the homeowner or renter to determine if they have a working smoke detector.
If the detector is not working or is not present, Cannon Beach Fire & Rescue personnel
will provide a detector free of charge. Extra detectors are carried on all
Cannon Beach fire apparatus and medical rescue units.
